The sound of snapping branches and rustling of leaves made both boys hold a statue like
position.
Suddenly Henry, broke his stand, he shook Timmy out of his frozen state, both boys
began to run. Ahead of them a clearing appeared. They made their way to the bright light
of the sun, without warning a large black object flew down and grazed Timmy's head
then flew back in the trees.
Timmy, landed hard on the ground then, in a frinzy scurried to his feet. Once in the clearing
the boys slowed their pace. Timmys, screaches were now forming words that Henry, could
undrestand.
"What in hell was that?" Timmy asked with a frightened tremor.
Henry, turned around to face his cousin then began to laugh uncontrolably. He fell to the
ground holding his stomach. "You should have seen...Oh...Your face it was... I think you..."
Henrys, laughter grew even louder.
Timmy, looked down at himself. He turned away from Henry, when he realized that at
some point he had wet his pants. "Damn thing. Did you see it? It damn near killed me! What
the hell was that?" Timmy asked as he began to pace back and forth.
Then he, too began to laugh. Henry attempted to speak but his laughter mixed words could
not be made out. He continued to lay on the grassy feild. Henry, rose to his feet to see what
was holding Timmy's attention. Timmy and Henry stood in wonder as a white horse gracefully
walked out from within the woods.
"Wow. That is the most beautiful animal I have ever seen." Timmy said with whispered
excitement.
Henry, gave no response. The horse pranced in a large circle around the boys. It appeared to
be floating as it's hooves barely made contact with the ground.
Henry, was shocked at the massive muscles, shiney long mane and tail. "It looks like a
work horse. I don't know of anyone around here that owns a horse that beautiful."
Henry, finally said.
"Who would make a horse as wonderous as he is work a field?" Timmy, asked.
"I sure wouldn't. If he was my horse I would..."Henry, hushed his words when he heard
a strange squealing sound coming from the trail.
"Henry, what is that noise?" Timmy, moved closer to his cousin.
The noise was moving closer to the entrance of the field. The boys backed up.The horse
threw his front hooves into the air. He landed hard on the ground. Tiny flicks of light shown
from between the ground and his front hooves. Henry and Timmy huddled together. The
horse came toward the boys he, gave Henry, a nudge. "I think he wants us to get on his
back."
"Are you sure." Timmy asked.
"It wont hurt to try. He will let us know if he doesn't want us up there."
Henry, grabbed the mane and heaved himself up. He helped Timmy up as well.
The large dark object entered the field. In between snorts and squeals the animal raised it's
nose in the air and sniffed.
"What the hell is that?" Timmy asked.
